It’s all animated in black on white, and that’s applied as a mask to the layer of fog, which was shot separately from the video of the girls behind the window. There was a certain amount of hard work, I think, in getting it all to look wet, as if it had been drawn by a real finger on a real foggy window. As far as I know, no, there’s no making-of, nor will there be. It was all done on an extremely low budget, mostly with people donating their time, so there was no extra documentation of the process.

I will be visiting the memorial in June. Like you and everyone probably in America, I can remember exactly what I was doing on the day that this tragedy happened and when I heard the news.

I also agree that America needs to also remember the survivors not just the ones that lost their lives. They need our support as well.
